Blueberry Cashew Butter Smoothie

This yummy smoothie is my latest breakfast obsession!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup blueberries

  • 3/4-1 cup fresh spinach leaves

  • scant 3/4 cup milk of choice (I used toasted coconut almond milk because -- yum!)

  • 2 teaspoons cashew butter

  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

  • 1/3 cup rolled oats

  • Handful of ice cubes

Directions:

Blend until smooth and enjoy! Serves one.

Bonus: the blueberries are awesome for cognitive health, the cashew butter is a heart-healthy fat, and cinnamon has anti-inflammatory properties and may help regulate blood sugar, among other awesome-sauce benefits.

PLUS, there's plenty of fiber, healthy fat, and some protein to help sustain you for a good while.
